CYCO Bikes
Buying with CYCO
We sell bikes in person because the right bike comes out of a conversation. Buy a bike with us and your Precision Bike Fit is complimentary.
The conversation
It starts with a chat, and no pressure to buy anything. We want to know what you ride now, where you ride it and what you want from your next bike. Tell us your budget honestly and we will work inside it. The more we understand about your riding, the better the recommendation.
Finding your bike
We stock Trek, Cervélo, Ritchey, Curve and Santa Cruz, and we hold far more in the showroom than we show online. If the bike you want is not on the floor, we can source almost anything. We will talk you through the real differences between your options rather than the marketing. If you have a bike to trade, bring it in and we will credit it against the new one.
The test ride
Two bikes can look identical on paper and feel nothing alike. Come and ride them. We will set a bike up close to your position and get you out on the road so you can feel the difference yourself. Take your time, and ride more than one.
Your bike fit
Buy a bike from us and your Precision Bike Fit is on the house, normally $199. We run the full 5-part fit, including saddle pressure mapping, then set your new bike up to those numbers before you take it home. Your first ride is already dialled in rather than something you sort out over the following months.
Six weeks in
New bikes bed in. Cables stretch, bolts settle and things move a little over the first few hundred kilometres, so we book you in for a free service at 6 weeks to put it all right. After that our workshop looks after your bike for as long as you own it. You are also welcome on the Saturday morning ride, which leaves the shop at 7am.

FAQ
Bike fit is fundamental to comfort, performance, and injury prevention. Whether you're new to cycling or upgrading your setup, getting the right fit makes all the difference. Below you'll find answers to common questions about bike fit, sizing, and how we can help you find your perfect ride.
Can I buy a bike from CYCO online?
No, and that is deliberate. We sell bikes in store only, because getting the right bike and the right fit takes a conversation, a test ride and someone who knows what they are looking at. You can buy clothing, components and accessories from us online, but for bikes we would rather see you in Kingsland.
Why doesn't CYCO sell bikes online?
Because a bike bought on size charts alone is a gamble. Frame size, reach, saddle height and how you actually ride all change what the right bike is, and none of that comes through a web page. Come in, talk to us, ride a few, and you will end up on a better bike.
What bike brands does CYCO sell?
We stock Trek, Cervélo, Ritchey, Curve and Santa Cruz. Between them you get road, gravel, mountain, trail and time trial covered. If you want something we do not carry, ask us, because we can source almost anything.
Can you get me a bike that isn't on your website?
Yes. What you see online is a small collection of our current favourites, not the full range. We hold plenty more in the showroom, and we can order in almost any bike or frameset you have your eye on. Give us a call on 09 376 4447 and tell us what you are after.
Do I need a bike fit before buying a new bike?
You do not have to, but we recommend it. A precision bike fit gives us your ideal riding position, so we can match you to the right size and setup across any brand rather than working from a size chart. It takes the guesswork out of a big purchase.
Can I test ride a bike before I buy?
Yes. Come into the showroom and we will get you out on a bike. Test riding is the fastest way to feel the difference between two bikes that look similar on paper, and it is part of why we do this in person.
What size bike do I need?
That depends on more than your height. Reach, flexibility, riding style and where you feel comfortable all shape the answer, which is why we size people in store rather than online. A precision bike fit is the most accurate way to get it right, and it is worth doing before you commit.
What types of riding does CYCO cater for?
All of it. Road, gravel, mountain, trail, downhill and time trial. Our team rides across these, so the advice you get comes from people who have ridden the bikes and the trails.
How long does it take to order a bike in?
It depends on the brand and the model. Some bikes we can have in quickly, others take longer if they are coming from overseas or built to order. Call the showroom and we will give you a straight answer on timing before you commit.
What happens after I buy a bike from CYCO?
You get our workshop. Our mechanics look after your bike from that point on, and we are here for advice, adjustments and servicing as you ride it in. If anything does not feel right in those first few rides, come back and we will sort it.
How long will it take to get my orders?
It depends on where you are. Orders processed here will take 5-7 business days to arrive. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.
Where is the CYCO showroom and when are you open?
The CYCO showroom is at 348 New North Road, Kingsland, in central Auckland, right across from Garage Project. We are open 9am to 5:30pm on weekdays and 10am to 4pm on Saturdays, closed Sundays and public holidays. Call 09 376 4447 or just pop in.
