Originally from Waimauku, a small town just north of Auckland. I share my time between competitive sport and work as a junior doctor. I compete in a wide range of endurance sports across New Zealand and the World. Exploring the environment around me is something I love doing and I have a passion for advocating the importance of physical activity in day to day life.
I graduated from Auckland Medical School at the end of 2012 and I am now working as an Emergency Medicine Registrar at Whangarei Hospital. I balance my work commitments as a doctor with training and racing. Medicine and competitive sport are dual priorities; I couldn’t do one without the other.
Keep an eye on this site for updates on my racing and training. I may even get to include interesting articles and stories related to my medical studies.
